2016 NCBCDA Honor Choir

CHOIR APPLICATION PROCESS: Reminder- Audition Date for the Honor Choir is November 1st, 2015
Each school may submit two quartets consisting strictly of one soprano, one alto, one tenor, and one bass. If you have enough qualified singers for part of a quartet, you may coordinate with another school choir director to fulfill the quartet. Due to stage restrictions and rehearsal space a maximum of 120 choir students will be accepted and will be strictly observed. Your second quartet will only be accepted after all other qualified applications have been placed and if there is an opening in the choir. Choir students are expected to memorize the music before attending the Honor Choir weekend. Directors are expected to do their best to help students adequately prepare so that the Honor Choir experience can be rewarding for all involved. Students will be tested upon arrival on Thursday night. If a student does not know their music, they will attend a mandatory rehearsal until they are prepared.
